8 Sales Funnel Templates That We’re Using in 2024


The marketing world moves fast.

If you think about it, it was only a few decades ago when just “having a website” for your business was edgy.

Now… even some versions of sales funnels are becoming redundant!

But it’s our job — as marketers and entrepreneurs — to stay on the bleeding edge. To keep learning and iterating.

We’re a quarter of the way into the 21st century…

Here are 8 sales funnel templates that we’re using in 2024!


1. Video Funnel

We’re at the point that software has become sophisticated enough that you can have a sales funnel inside of a single video.

Sounds crazy?

Check out the example at the top of the homepage on Voomly.

This is so cool — because it’s something most consumers haven’t seen and it allows you to create a unique video experience with them.

In the example at the top of the Voomly page, Russell asks for your email address before you can continue watching the video (that’s the opt-in).

Then you can select why you’re interested in learning more about Voomly. This segments people and what you watch next will be determined by what you select.

2. AI Funnel

We’re now in the “era” of AI.

ChatGPT is one of the fastest growing apps in history, hitting 100 million monthly active users after just 2 months of launching.

Pretty crazy.

But the good news is that we can use AI to build funnels, too — which makes the entire process way easier.

You used to have to spend hours and hours designing funnels, writing the copy, and formatting the pages. Now AI can do 80% to 90% of the work for you. And you can just refine what it gives you.

You can select your niche, your funnel type, your brand colors, your image style, and then provide the AI with some more specific instructions about your offer (so it can write compelling copy.

Checkout processes have changed a LOT over the last decade.

Well… at least what you can do with your checkout process has changed!

A lot of people are still using the same ol’ checkout pages and processes they’ve always used — email, credit card info, “thank you”...

But there’s so much more possibility than that!

6. Challenge Funnel

Maybe there will come a day when challenge funnels don’t work…

But it’s not today.

In fact, this is still one of our favorite types of funnels in the ClickFunnels-verse.

7. Free Trial Funnel

Free trials are another one of those offers that haven’t gone out of style.

If you’ve generated a fair amount of brand awareness already and people are coming directly to your website, then offering a free trial can be really effective.

Keep in mind, it’s not super effective if you don’t already have a lot of brand awareness where people know about your software and want to try it.

A sales funnel that’s a bit newer that we’ve been experimenting with a lot recently (and had quite a bit of success) is the documentary funnel!

This funnel is cool because it gives you a chance to tell the story of your offer, and create an epiphany bridge with your audience.
