Here’s a weird thing I’ve been thinking about recently…
Does saying the F word help your business? Or hurt your business?
If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ve probably noticed that I don’t cuss.
This is partly because of how I was raised — and partly because of my religious beliefs.
But also!
I’ve noticed sort of a funny benefit from not cussing…
Obviously, there are many great entrepreneurs and marketers who cuss. Like Gary Vee or Garrett While — and even lots of other amazing people in my inner circle or who are part of the Two Comma Club.
In fact, cussing has become sort of popular in the entrepreneurial and startup world.
And I’ve actually had people tell me that they like me or notice me more because I DON’T cuss…
Now I’m not saying you should stop cussing.
But it’s something worth thinking about.
Do your dream customers connect with curse-words? Or does it put them off?
Figure out who your dream customers are. Understand your audience. And define the attractive character you want to encapsulate.
That should help you figure out if the F word is right for you or not ;)
I don’t care if you cuss or not…
But for your business, it’s important to consider what will get you the result you want.
